Card ingredients: I always use Pro Markers for my colouring, and everything else is from my stash, the butterflies are a mix of MS punches and SU punches, and lots of bling....

DT creation for Crafting with Dragonflies # 27: PEGS

Hi everyone, it's Crafting with Dragonflies again, and this week we are challenging to 

use PEGS 

I have used these wooden pegs ( wooden ones work the best) and turned them into fridge magnets.

I painted them with gold glitter paint first, and then added some scroll die cuts from Kraft and added some of my new found treasures (the flowers). Which were liberally covered with glitzy glitter.(ahm)

Then glued a small strong magnet on the back of each one.

So there you have, easy peasy...and the funny thing is you can't just do one, no you have to do more, 3, 5 or more...hop on over to the main blog and check out what the Dragonfly girls came up with.

This a the most beautiful rubber stamp from Crackerbox Palace, it's quiet large 

and was a joy to colour...
I use Pro Markers to colour, ribbon and papers from my stash, a variety of die cuts. the Green is a Heartfelt Creations die, ribbon also from my stash.

Card 2:
Image is a digi stamp from QKR. I always use Pro Markers for my colouring, the papers are from Kaisercraft, and the rest is from my stash.

DT Brown Sugar # 94: Father's Day

Hi all, hope you all had a good week so far. It's Brown Sugar time again, and this week the theme is 

Father's Day

The papers are all from my stash, I used a Digi gingham paper and digitally moved the digi car image and the sentiment onto the digi paper...I love experimenting.  The image is from Stitchy Bear Digi Images.
I then hand coloured some blue into the car with a Pro Marker,and used an EK grass border punch..
 Even though our theme is Fathersday, (my father passed away a long time ago, and I still miss him) I used a sentiment that could be used or anything really. Just a guy card.
Here in Australia Fathersday is not until 1st Sunday in September, but over your way somewhere is Fathersday, so hug your Fathers and tell them how much you love them, and if you have a problem with him, then forgive him....otherwise you will regret it one day....and it could be too late. I know that, no matter what the circumstances are, it is better for your health and peace of mind....

Mothers Love Card with basket full of flowers for challenges

Hi again, don't worry, this won't happen again so quickly, 4 posts in a row...not like me at all. But I had all these cards done a while ago and thought why not enter them, before I sell them on ebay.

Here is a card that I used a Kraft base card, and the papers are from various Kaiser Kraft paper pads, some die cuts and the the flowers are all from my stash that I buy from ebay....

CAS butterfly card for challenges

Hi everyone, well this is out of my comfort zone, even though I don't always put a lot of embellishments on, I tend to be an over the top CAS card maker..This is pretty extreme CAS for me...

Elegant Gatefold card with hat and flowers for challenges

Hi all, hope you are all well and have been enjoying the week. I bought this image from Craftsuprint, and hardly used it as it is meant to..but was rummaging around all my stuff and thought it would make the perfect card topper, doesn't always have to be hand coloured....now I know some would shake their head at that thought, and some of you would agree, lol...

I had these papers and used the kraft card for the base, and added a bit of interest on the left flap , using the MS butterfly border punch. The flowers and everything else is from my stash, and I added lots of glitz, even though you can't really see it....the flowers on the left are meant to hold the card flap.

I think I will leave it sentiment free so it can be used for anything..
including Mothers Day...

Pre Coloured Image from Doodle Pantry

Hi everyone, well it is the Squirrel and the Fox time again, and this fortnight we are asking you to make a Mothers Day card. Here in Australia it is actually Mothers Day next Sunday.

Love all of their Digi images and Digi Papers..

I printed the green part of the papers that came with this set and I also placed the flower on the orange and the butterfly digitally onto the paper.., even the sentiment has been digitally placed onto the green digi paper....the orange and the black papers behind the green, are from my stash, as are the 3d flowers.

I just highlighted some with glitz...and all this on a Kraft base card.
I actually enjoyed doing this card, using the modern digital with the traditional addition of the flowers and layering onto the card....best of both worlds.
