DT Card for Gingerloft: Ribbons and Bows

Hi everyone, well it's Gingerloft time again. This week we are asking you to create a card with ribbons and bows. I used papers from my stash, the gorgeous GL Sunflower Collage, which is one of my favourites. I actually coloured the background with the vanilla  promarker, so it matched the ribbon.  I always use pro markers for my colouring, the bow/ ribbon is also from my stash and is a gorgeous elegant satin combo with gauze and glitter. I only wish I could make better bows.
Now let's see yours, blessings Hilde

DT card for the Squirrel and the Fox # 38: Fairytale/Fantasy

This weeks theme: Fairytale/Fantasy
Hi everyone, hope you are all well. It's the Squirrel and the Fox time again, and we got to play with some of the most amazing images. You must check out MIC site, so many digi images, so little time. I did 'try' to copy the way Zoe teaches her colouring style, but not very successfully, it will take a lot more practice to get it just so. I am quietly pleased with it, but know that I have a long, long way to go yet. I always use Pro markers for my colouring, some flowers I had in my stash with new blue jewel brads as centers  and a black and a smaller white doily as my background.
I did find however that my daughters glitter gel pens are ideal for the eye colouring.
I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great week.
Well it's SAS4Kids time again and this weeks it's

Easy Peasy, or so I thought. I don't see myself as someone who overloads my cards with embellies, I am hovering the the middle between CAS and full on. But I will admit, that I did had to hold back a little and not over load these two cards. Not that easy after all, lol.
The papers on both cards are from my stash, I always colour with pro markers, the butterfly on Card 1 is a Martha Stewart punch, and I just added a little bling and a die cut border.

Goodbye Jacqui

Such sad news to share,
just found out that a wonderful blogger friend of mine, which most of you would have known, has past away. Even though Jacqui (the owner of the DigiGarden) has been more often sick than feeling well in the 3 years I have had the pleasure to know her, it is still a shock to find out that she has past away. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Surely this was not expected to happen and the suddenness must be awful for everyone, trying to come to terms with her death.
My sincere condolences.....

What I loved about Jacqui was the way she would leave the most wonderful and lengthy comments on a lot of my cards. When she started her challenge blog,  I eagerly applied for a DT position, I was over the moon when she selected me to be part of her DT. I enjoyed my time on the team until it was time for me to move on, loved her images and no matter how many times I would see them on the cards, I would get such a kick out them, and I loved that Jacqui would try to comment on every challenge entry herself.
We were also DT buddies on the Squirrel and the Fox together, she was
a talented lady with a big kind heart and will be dearly missed.
Goodbye Jacqui.
Blessings Hilde
