It's all in the eyes - card for challenges

Hi again, what's this I hear you ask. I know, it's not my 'normal' type of card, but that's ok, as I am trying to reach outside my box, lol. The image is actually from one of our cats. We then turned the photo into a digi
( see EEM photos to digis, here) and then enlarged, and then cropped the image, and just coloured her eyes
( that's the actual colour and glitzed it) I used papers from my stash and my new tim holtz tape. Love it.

DT card for the Squirrel and the Fox # 10 - Australia and or Party

It's the Squirrel and the Fox time again, Yippee.
WOW! What can I say, we got to play with some AMAZING images from Make it crafty.
We just had Australia Day on Thursday, which is our national day and we do all things Aussie, even though a wet day here in Sydney, most people still managed to make the best of it.
Well, if you are wondering what I used to colour this pic, here it goes.
I love, love, love Glimmermist, where has it been hiding all my life?? I liberally sprayed glimmermist all over the place and somehow it ended up in the right places, you can see some overspray, but that is part of the appeal. I then used a water filled paint brushes and used some glimmer mist for some targeted water colour affects and then did the detailing with some of my promarkers.
This picture is actually two digis combined. You can purchase both seperately.
Check out the other cards from the DT, they all did such a wonderful job with theirs...amazingly talented ladies. Awesome. And for those of you who have never been to the outback of Australia, that red-orange is the actual colour of the sandy loamy type soil and the rock can even change to purple with the right conditions. This huge monolith smack bang in the middle of Australia is known as Ulluru. And well I don't think I need to tell you anything about the cute Koala's. Hope you like my arty approach to the challenge.
Now I can't wait to check out your projects.

DT Cards for SAS4Kids # 25 : Anything goes ( for kids)

Well amazingly it's Send a smile 4 Kids time again.
Hope you are all well and had a great week. The top two cards have been made with photos that have been turned into digis. I tried a little colouring, still a bit new at it.The dog is our miss Lady who is a Staffy ( who is no Miss, ahem) and my gorgeous grandaughter with the brightest of blue eyes.
My daughter will be happy to convert your photos if you wish to have a go, just click on here and then check out the top tabs and go to the EEM photos to digis.
The third card is a cute little dog named Bailey from Hambo stamps. Karen and I are also guest designers there this week, so have a look. They have some freebies for you so you can play,
as you must use their images to take part.
I was trying out some new glimmermist on the third one. I will confess to you that I never had any before and this is my first time.... Yes my first time. And keeping that in mind, I really did restrain myself. First I didn't use every colour I had and I only sprayed pretty much everything on my desk, but then in my defense no one warned me (and it should be on the bottle as a safety precaution) that spraying glimmer mist is addictive!!!
I had to stop myself and walk away.............you can still just read the sentiment....so I did ok, I think.
We are being sponsered by
EEM: turn your photos into digis

I would like to enter the third card with all that glimmermist into the following challenges:

It's frustrating when I am suppose to leave comments on blogs for my DT obligations and it freezes on me....
