DT Card for the Squirrel and the Fox # 32: Summer or Winter

Image by our sponsor : Robyns Fetish

Hi all , hope you had a great week. Well it's the Squirrel and the Fox time again, and this week we are asking you to create a Summer or Winter themed card. We are lucky here in Australia as we have been enjoying our Spring time. It's been a bit wet and stormy here in Sydney, but's that's normal. The Jacaranda trees are in full bloom, and some are starting to loose their beautiful flowers already, but they do only really flower during the month of November. But believe it or not today is the second day of Summer here Downunder and nothing says Summer more than a Sunflower don't you agree?
I used papers and embellies from my stash, the butterfly is a Stampin up die, I always use pro markers to colour my images. The Border punch is from MS, and there is nothing more fun to add than some bling and glitz to finish off a card....
Looking forward to seeing your creations, blessings Hilde

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

  7. Hi there Hilde, thanks for stopping in! Very pretty card! I certainly wish it is still warm enough for sunflowers here!

Setting up a challenge blog is much like creating a regular blog--I must say you are pretty proficient from what I can see on your site. :) For buttons and banners, an alternative would be to use real pictures instead of digital design. Sponsors-wise you may contact potential sponsors. Some will gladly sponsor once you have reached a certain number of followers.

Linking up is as simple as finding a program that supports the action--I used as it is free, but so is I think the best way to choose is to look around the challenge blogs that you participate in. Find the layout you like and look on the bottom of the list of entries to find out what program they use (some are paid services, so read the site carefully). After you register with them, you can follow the instructions to create a linky list with the info you want on there. You can enter time duration and other specifics on the website. They will generate an html code for you to pop right into the blogger post (make sure to click the "html" tab next to "compose" when you are writing a new post before pasting the code). Then you can flip it back to "compose" and carry on with your regular posting, keeping in mind where the linky list will sit in your post. It should work on it's own from there. You can sign into your account with the linky service to manage links that are submitted.

I hope this helps and wasn't too confusing! At the moment, I don't have as much time as I would like to create a thorough post for your request, so I apologize. Hopefully after New Years!

    All the best,
