DT Card for the Squirrel and the Fox # 4; Hats or flowers

It;s challenge time again over at the Squirrel and the Fox. This time it's :Hats or Flowers
Wow. What a beautiful Digi we got to work with. This is gorgeous and I enjoyed colouring her. I have already made a few more, just love playing with different colours,
so don't be surprised if you see more of her.
Here in Australia we all hold our breath for 3 minutes as in Melbourne we have the world famous Melbourne cup races in the first Tuesday of November. It's even a public Holiday in the state of Victoria, but no not here in Sydney. Every one has a little bet and then get's on with life once again. I don't bet and am sooo not interested in the races, but it is part of our Aussie culture, so you can't not know what goes on. In offices and workplaces all around Australia they get dressed up and have in house bets and just turn it into a fun sort of a day. Girls don't need much of an excuse to get dressed up right? You have to wear a hat to the races apparently. So there you have it.
This lovely digi is from our sponser Make it Crafty and is called: Chantelle at the races. click here and this link will take to straight to her.
I always use promarkers for colouring and the papers are from Kaisercraft called the Candy Lane collection. Lots of glitter on the hat and flowers, not sure if you can see well.I tried not to make it too busy as the image speaks for itself.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges

Sweet Stampin: Anything goes
Totally Papercrafts # 90: Glitter it
Hanna and Friends# 117: Glitter

DT card for the Alphabet Challenge: T for Teatime

Hi everyone, it's Alphabet Challenge time once again. Every second Friday we have a challenge following the Alphabet along. We are once again up to T. So it's T for Teatime.
Whenever I get an unpset stomach I drink a strong cup of tea with milk and two sugars. I don't know why it helps but it does. Maybe it has to do with my Mum giving me tea everyime I felt unwell. Her solution to the worlds problems, lol. Me- I am a true blue coffee drinker. I only wish that coffee would actually taste as good as it's smells.
These cups are made up from punches. A large round punch (or die) I cut the top 1/4 of the circle off and used a part of one of my scroll dies and used them as the handles. The saucer is an oval punch.
Too easy.
Looking forward to checking out all of your entries. Blessings Hilde

DT Card for the Poodles Parlour: Let's hear it for the boys # 11

Hi everyone, another fornight has passt and it's the Poodles Parlour time again.
Can you belive it ? we are up the challenge#11 already. Wow!!
This week we are sponsered by Karens Doodles and they gave us some great Digis to play with.
Go over check out their great selection of stamps and digis.

I chose this one, fishing is one of those sports that suit a guy to the ground. You get to wear comfy clothes, it can get messy, you are allowed to get wet and smelly, and you don't have to talk unless you want to, but don't talk too loud you might scare the fish away and you get to tell big fishy stories about the one that got away. At the end of the day, the best part for everyone else is they get to enjoy fish and chips for dinner - from the fish and chip shop on the way home. Oh yeah!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Moving along with the times# 122: No girls allowed
digidoodles: Anything goes

I always colour with Promarker, the background paper is a Prima stack called the North Country, the flourish is a tim holtz die, the background die is the top note die, and the right hand corner is a quarter of a cheery lynn doiley die. Phew, that's amazing that I remembered all of that, lol.

Hi everyone, it's been a busy week for me so far, but still managed a few cards. I really am in love with this Tilda stamp. I always use promarkers when colouring. The background is a Digi paper print from Cuddly Buddly. The Breast Cancer awareness ribbon was a freebie digi.
As I am a Breastcancer survivor myself, I love this cause, and really would like all of you precious ones out there (men and women) to have yourself checked on a regular basis. I am now 6 years cancerfree and feel very blessed that I have 'made' it. My treatment included Chemotherapy and Radiation. I lost my hair and wor a wig for a while. It's still a bit 'raw' after all these years and I still don't like talking about it too much as it is such an emotional rollercoaster. It amazes me how much the human body can endure.
I was blessed to have a very supporting family and church behind me that helped me through it all.that is why I made this card a Thankyou card. A very big THANKYOU to my family and friends.
