The great Summer Fete Blog Hop
Hi everyone, oh my goodness. What an amazing blog hop this is.
I always wanted to make a book card, and checked everyones instructions out on You tube and blogs and thought, na, too fiddly. But no, it really wasn't too bad. The pleating was interesting, and I had glue everywhere, lol. I am not the neatest crafter when it comes to the sticky stuff.
But I am quietly please with it. A perfect way to send a presi to friend who is an avid gardner. My project is all about gardening. Here in Australia we are in Winter, but there must be a Summer out there somewhere.
I love gardening, my husband gets upset with me that I don't wear gloves.

Hi all, well this is something a bit different for me. If you have been following then you might have noticed that i am slowly breaking out of my 'mould'. I am trying more and more something out of the norm.
This project started out to be a teabag holder( as I was following the tutorial on Top Tip Tuesday), well as you can see it turned out to be a little booklet. Which I am not to unpleased about. Instead of teabags, I made some little tags to go into the pouches. The tags a have plenty of room to personlise and the backs are left blank.
So it's now a Birthday tag booklet. ahm. Sounds quiet posh.

Dt card for the Alphabet Challenge: E for Easel Cards

Hi all, it's Friday again, and this week over at the Alphabet Challenge it's E for Easel Cards.

You don't want see my first one, but now that I know how to make them, man they are soooo easy. Here is my recipe: just make a normal card whatever size you wish, and just fold the front part in half again. There is your base. Then you just continue from there. There are so many variations out there now,  if you are not sure just go an check out You Tube.
I glued the actual real shells on with Glossy accents. The image was a free digi from a while ago, sorry can't remember from who. I do remember that it was inspired by a photograph.
I added the sun.Something different.
