Then we couldn;t get them off our laps again for the next hour. They are not little dogs, they are both heavy and muscle laden Staffy's. Scardy cats more like it.

WOYWW # 94

Hi all, what a busy week it has been. I was actually just trying to distract your attention away from my desk for a moment. This is what I get to see every day off my back balcony. Beautiful nes pa? The water you see through the gum trees and the Jacaranda tree on the left is the Hawkesbury River 1 hour north from Sydney where I live. Even though it was raining all day and slighty overcast it still looks great. Now just picture the noise of acouple of  Kookaburras fighting over their territory and a bunch of rainbow lorikeets screeching and fighting over the driest branch in the tree to my right which is not on the pic.

Ok,Ok, enough with the distraction. I was only trying to take you attention away from my sadly even more messy desk than usual. I really think the time has come for a clean up, but must admit I have been very creative this week. The ugly yellow container is a no brand name empty ice cream bucket, lol. I keep all my printed digis in it. Getting a little crowded.
Why not head over to Julia's blog called Stamping Ground, and join in the fun. You will get to see What's on your work desk Wednesday.
Thanks for everyones comments last week. See you at your place soon, blessings Hilde

Just wanted to say a big Thank you for joining my blog. I feel very privileged that you guys think that my blog is worth following. Thanks so much. I am very grateful for your courage. I am having fun blogging and love to learn how to spread my wings some more, I feel like I am busting out of my skin, I would like to write more, maybe even learn how to make digis and even, wait for it, a challenge or two? No way! That's what I said. But it's niggling away in the back of my mind....mmmmmmh.
Wouldn't have the foggiest idea on how to do it, so I would love to hear some of your precious input.

Lots and lots of blessings and good health, Hilde

Challenges: Flourishes, scrapbook sisters, thecreative cottage, the paper shelter, Stempel Magie

Hi all, this is a lovely image from the flourish stamps, and so is the sentiment. I love the flourish stamps I must say, even though i am starting more and more to be a digi fan, I s l o w l y changed from the good old red rubber stamps on timber to the new clear type stamps...... none of us like change, and then everyone goes nuts over digi stamps... but I think there is a good place for all of them, once you've worked out how to get the red rubber off the timber, how much easier and less bulky are they to use? But I digress.

Hi all, hope you are all well. I've been reading a lot of good reports about the Kenny K Digi stamps, so I had to investigate. Some of their images are not to my taste, but I did find some I really liked. Such as this young fellow. I always use ProMarkers for my colouring.I am constantly on the lookout for boy or male images to use for guy cards. They would have to be the hardest to make. You don't always want to use sporting images, and I personally don't like using 'sexy' type images, so there isn't really much left to find. But I like this youngster. I was trying to convince my daughter he looks like someone famous.....??
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Hi everyone, head on over to Julia's Blog called Stamping Ground to have a sticky beak around the world to see what is on your workdesk Wednesday.
Well I hope you all had a great week so far. It looks a bit wild and woolley today on my desk (worse than normal) One of my ribbons got tangled, don't know how and I just pulled on it ( patient one as I am) and now my ribbons look like a cyclone hit them (guess I'm the cyclone, lol) And container with my digis and stamped images that I had already coloured fell over, and oh, I just left them out.... just another stash to push aside that's all. Just about to post some cards too. The young fellow you see on the red card is a Kenny K image. And there is my newly aquired Stampin Up Owl punch. Can't wait to use it....

Hope you had a good look, and in regards to my ramblings from last week about cutting back on the coffee yadda, yadda . Well..............I have cut back, but not completely, but am drinking less, ahm. I am.True. About the healthy bit and walking. ..Mmm, well I figure racing around my daughter and shopping and everything else is 'walking'. Yes it is. So I am counting that towards my other walking...he, he. Can't wait to have a sticky beak over at your place. Blessings Hilde.

The designer paper with the red flowers was just enough to get my triangle, and I was able to squeeze just enough out of the green card stock to make a flourish. Well, what can I say. My son was 'mucking' around with my camera (or so he says) and ooops. He took a few shots, ahm.Well believe it or not I didn't notice at first. I was really concentrating, lol. Trying to clean the mess I had just made, it's a wonder my tongue isn't poking out, you know to help the concentration, he, he. I noticed a flat spot on the back of my head. Is that normal or does that happen when you get older?? And whats this, not one single coffee cup to be found???? Well I have decided to give up my coffee.
I can;t believe I just wrote that out loud. OMG. Yep. That's right, my cholesterol
is too high and I need to try to cut back on all the naughty things I am doing. Can you make cards whilst going for a walk? not sure, must try it. Oh, well, I am sure I can manage. I am going to aim for a walk , not every day to start with, don't want to set myself up for a failure, maybe 3-4 times a week.
Let you know next week how I did.
I am afraid no excuses again this week,
I just work better with a messy table, i love working 'around' my little piles. Hope you enjoy the snoop, looking forward to checking out your place. Sorry that I didn't get to visit many of you last week. Hopefully will get to visit more this week. Have a wonderful day, blessings Hilde
PS: Notice the second pic, this is when I noticed what he was doing. Notice 'The Look' ? I think we all have that one. He quickly put the camera down, LOL. But now I am glad he did take the pics, otherwise I might not have anthing to show you!
