WOYWW 82

Hi everyone, hope you all had a peaceful Christmas. I know I did. After the whole 'Drama' with my daughter having to have her Gallbladder out and the 'aftermath', totally throwing any of my plans out the window, we ended up having the best Christmas. It was just close family and it was so peaceful. We just stayed home and enjoyed ourselves. Ahhh... It was nice. We had weird weather, it was overcast most of the days, and not real hot either, which is unusual for us this time of year. I do feel for all my fellow bloggers with piles of snow and ice. Brrr!!... I am sure all that added some interesting moments to your festivities???
Just a quick pic of part of my very long work desk. I am blessed to have received some crafting items, and one of them was a new cricut cartridge call 'trim the tree', how appropriate now that Christmas is over, LOL and I splurged and bought myself a stamp from sugarnellie called Manga Princess, can't wait to try out both.
To the left you can see some Digi stamps I have printed out ready for my 'grown up colouring in' as I call it.
A wonderful New Year blessings to all of you and see you next week.
Blessings Hilde

  4. I think we shared the same christmas weather, no trip to the beach for us on christmas day. But so grateful it wasn't snow. Good to hear things are improving with your daughter. Wishing you all a lovely new year.

  11. Nice goodies.
My son lives in Sydney and their weather cleared up enough to hit the beach. With Santa caps on no less. LOL
Hope your weather clears soon. Happy New Year!!

  12. Your Christmas sounds just fine and it's good to hear your daughter is on the mend. Probably told you this before but I had my gallbladder op just before last Christmas (after many troublesome years with it) and the holiday was a write off for me. But what a difference a year makes, your daughter will really notice the difference by next Christmas. Your desk looks productive and the sugar nellie stamp is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing and I wish you and yours a healthy and happy New Year. Elizabeth #57

  17. Hi Hilde
Thanks for dropping by. ATC are a 3.5" x 2.5" piece of artwork (stamping/collage/painting) whatever takes your fancy. You trade, swap or gift. You can keep them or use them. I joined the Darkroom Door monthly Swap which is hosted by Rachel Greig (lives on the central coast) she hosts the monthly theme and you use her product. Not a problem if you love her stuff and have lots in your stash. Happy to send you one of my damask atc, send me an email and we can organise it. All the best for your new year.
