Hi all, well it's SAS4kids time again, and this fortnight we are asking you to create a card with a Thank you theme. Even though now SAS4kids is Anything goes all the time we still like to follow a theme. And again I used the Tim Holtz tattered leaves die for the belliband of my card which is a gatefold card, with lovely warm Autumn/Fall colours.

DT card for Crafting with Dragonflies # 112 Spring has Sprung

Hi all, wow, where has the time gone? 1st of September already? Which is, by the way, Australia's official first day of Spring.
Well it's Crafting with Dragonflies time again, and we are asking you to create a card with the
Spring theme.
What represents Spring for me, apart from all the gorgeous flowers, and the deciduous trees turning green and colourful and the warmth of the sun increasing, is the birth of all the animals.
I love seeing all the spring lambs being born. Sadly this year we are in a severe drought here in NSW and in Queensland as well, and no food for them, and the farmers are really struggling, my heart goes out to them.. we need rain, rain and then some more rain.

Hop on over to the main blog here, and join in on our great challenge, Spring has Sprung.

DT Card for SAS4Kids # 177 : Slime or Humorous for Kids

This is too funny, over at SAS4Kids , Karen asked us to make a slime - or humerous kids card.
Well not sure what I was thinking, but I decided to draw a hippo I saw somewhere and thought I can do that. Not sure I succeeded, but in case you are wondering its in the humorous catagory.
Coloured with Pro markers.
Hop on over to SAS4kids and check out what the team came up with.
Blessings Hilde

DT Card for Crafting with Dragonflies # 111: Card for a guy or Fathers day

Hi all, what a week. We are in the last throws of winter here and we already have bush fires, because its been so dry and windy. All of NSW has been declared 100% in drought. Our farmers are doing it the toughest. Prayers going out to them and some donations towards feed for the animals.

Over at Crafting with Dragonflies we are asking you to make a card for a guy or that special male in your family or even a Fathers day card. Here in Australia Fathers day is just around the corner.

My card is matted onto a water colour back ground, and an ephemera pic of a sailing boat, which I liberally saturated with glitz. Might not be guy like but you have put glitter on everything, right?
Everything else is from my stash even that cute little die cut frame which I found when I was looking for the glitter.

So hop on over to Crafting with Dragonflies and enter your card.
